Kaurun, one of my favourite boys ever, a smokey blue grullo brumby, with his devoted young mare Mamaragan, the full sister of Ku-Taroo. she was besotted with Kaurun since the moment she saw him, despite him not really noticing her at first. but no matter what happens to Kaurun, how far he travels or how long he leaves her alone, she always waits for him and understands him better than any filly other than the long-lost Tauwa, Kaurun's first and only true love. *sigh* ^_^ Mamaragan is a feisty little filly with a lust for adventure, a sharp wit, wicked sense of humour and a quick temper, but Kaurun is too hard to describe in one comment area - he needs a book (or his manga-style comic-in-progress... XD). His story is a long and complex one, so i wont try and put it here. suffice to say he's a bit of a troubled boy with a price on his head and a chip on his shoulder. *snuggles him*
These are all so cool Penni! I can't believe you hand painted all of them! I do believe you need to invest in an airbrush. You could do some serious damage with one of 'em in your paws. n.n

*squeals and falls over* thanks!!!!! XD youre right, i do need an airbrush. although i would still paint the little details and manes, etc with the paintbrushes and pins - you cant get those little details with an airbrush. but *sigh* youre definitely right, airbrushes are good. but expensive...

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
This news article features five deviants who took part in Comment Month through commenting on the deviations that were submitted.
Please give your time to this article and to write constructive comments so that you make a true difference to the artists featured here. Although not all may be underappreciated, their efforts deserve to be recognised and celebrated.
